A Sydney street transformed into downtown San Francisco for a movie

Phillip Street Sydney yesterday was looking a lot like downtown San Francisco.

Filming for The Invisible Man, starring Elizabeth Moss, moved into Sydney’s CBD after previously shooting on the New South Wales south coast.

Spotted outside the Reserve Bank building was a San Francisco Police Department vehicle, US left-side drive cars, USA Today news stand, a blue United States mail box and a San Francisco water supply pump.

The Invisible Man is being directed by Leigh Whannell and is due for release in March 2020.
