Corpus Christi College — 1990 Year 12 Graduating Class

Here’s some photos of the final day of school for the Corpus Christi College graduating class of Year 12 — The photos were taken on Tuesday 17th October 1990.

Who remembers this final day before HSC exams? Students signed each others school uniforms. And from what I can see in these photos, students took photos of each other on the day.

Our HSC exams began on Monday 23rd October 1990. Our Graduation Ball was held on Tuesday 11th December 1990.

So, 29 years after our final year at school, here are the photos…(If Facebook was around in 1990, I reckon I would have uploaded the photos that night!).

Our class raised $3,309 for Children in Distress at Somersby on our final day — nowadays, if you consider inflation, that would be possibly equivalent to about $10K! Well done everyone! A segment on radio 2GO with Bob Peters & Sarah King helped spread our message on the morning.

As the day progressed you’ll notice that I was simply just taking photographs of anything that moved. Thanks to co-captain Michelle Bailey and Jim McKeon for being available for several photos!
